DAN
PROMOTION COURSES
Black Belt promotion
courses are designed to provide valuable instruction, resources and
materials for Black Belt development both in terms of a student's own
technical progress and his/her instructor's and examiner's qualifications.
The course takes place over two days and includes both lectures and
physical practice. The course features videotaped analysis of a student's
technique and a detailed review of all of the teachniques required to
be demonstrated by the student at their next grading. It is one of a
number of pre-requisites that have to be completed before a Yudansha
(Black Belt) grade can be awarded to an aspiring candidate.
